How Big Are We In This Universe?

EARTH, MOON AND SUN

The Earth is the planet that we all live on.

As with all planets it is spherical in shape, although some ancient civilisations thought that the Earth was flat! It orbits around the Sun, and is the third planet out from the centre of our Solar System. The Sun is the star at the center of the Solar System!

The Moon is a natural satellite of the Earth, meaning that it orbits around the Earth. It is the only place outside of the Earth that humans have ever been! We can often see the Moon on a clear night, but it does appear to change shape during the 29 days it takes to orbit the Earth.

Why Did Pirates Wear Patches?

One of the most amazing things about human vision is the incredible range it has. We can see in very bright sunlight, and we can also see in nearly total darkness. Humans are built for living in the daytime and sleeping in the dark. The retina (the light-sensitive part of our eyes) has cells called cones (for seeing coloured light) and rods (for detecting movement and dim light). We have 20 times more rods than cones (120 million rods and only 6 million cones), yet we're still not very good at seeing in the dark. Hmmm... interesting fact.

Benefits of Company Retreat Program

This is a large group from BSN Admin & Sales team attended team building program at Cherengin Hills

The term “team building” has become a buzzword in recent years, and has many connotations. In terms of corporate development, team-building exercises are important not for the immediate experience of the activities performed by the team, but also for the group skills, communication and bonding that result. Team-building programmes provide realistic experiences that empower individuals to contribute to common goals. The success of most organisations depends on the ability of individuals to build effective teams.
